| In our entire line, we focus on using local lumber that is sustainably harvested and using child-safe finishes. There are a wide variety of finishes which are suitable, but on this page we feature products that meet even tougher criteria. From our blocks which have no finish to our oval rattles which have a Vermont—developed whey finish (whey being a byproduct of cheesemaking). Our natural Classic trucks have a natural beeswax/tung oil finish. These finished are as safe for us to use as they are for your child to play with. Our latest items are shown from our Schoolhouse Naturals line. These are all high-durability products, made with no finish added, just hard maple wood. | ||
